Rabies vaccination is required by the State of Ohio. So please make sure your pet is up to date with their vaccination, unless your Veterinarian can’t provide to your pet for health reasons.
Due care will be taken with the pet(s) for the safety of the pet(s) and any employee at Fuzzy Butts, LLC. If it is necessary for the safety of the pet(s) and employees, muzzles will be humanely used and are acceptable.
If pet(s) do not respond to the employees and do not cooperate during the grooming process accidents can happen such as nicks from clippers or scissors or toenail clipping.
For most pet(s) to properly respond to the groomer it is essential that the pet(s) be alone with the groomer and clients will not assist in the grooming unless requested to do so.
Customer assumes all liabilities, financial and otherwise, for the behavior and health of the pet(s). In consideration of the services rendered by Fuzzy Butts, LLC, customer waives any and all claims, actions, or demands of any nature, foreseen, against Fuzzy Butts, LLC relating to the care, control, health, and/or safety of customers’ pet(s) arising during services performed by Fuzzy Butts, LLC. In the event of any injury or health concern, we are authorized to contact a Vet and authorize any Veterinary treatment for the pet as necessary. The owner is responsible for all Veterinary charges that may incur as a result, unless the illness or injury is a direct result of negligence of Fuzzy Butts, LLC.
The pet is fit and healthy. Any grooming which takes place on an elderly pet or pet with health problems will be at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health and/or skin problems for which Fuzzy Butts, LLC cannot be held liable.
Fuzzy Butts, LLC will not groom or have any pets in to be groomed that are in season/heat. This causes temperament issues with other dogs that come in. We also will not groom any pets with staples or stitches unless the Vet has cleared them for a groom. If you bring your pet in being in season/heat or staples or stitches and we have to send them home, you will be charged $25 per pet fee for the late cancelation.
Flea Infestation/Salon Sanitation
If fleas are found on your pet, Fuzzy Butts, LLC will give your pet a flea bath to eradicate the fleas in order to maintain store sanitation. This is at the client’s expense and it is a $10 fee. The shampoo is gentle and not a dip, but it has to stay on your pet for 10 mins to be effective. We want to make sure no one goes home with fleas, because fleas can also lead to tapeworm in pets that have fleas. We want to make sure we are a flea free store.
Matted or /Coat/ Shave downs
Fuzzy Butts, LLC will handle matted dogs and cats on their first visit, after their first visit they will be put on a schedule according to the recommendations of Angela. If you get off the schedule, then your spot will open up for someone else to move from our waiting list. Fuzzy Butts, LLC will not be held responsible for clipper burn and/or minor nicks resulting from grooming of matted, neglected coats or for irritation caused by removing coat from pets possessing mild to severe skin allergy.
De-matting/de-tangling of matted hair may cause patchiness and hair loss. Consent to remove the matted hair is on this understanding. Shaving your cat or certain dog breeds can dramatically change the pet’s appearance, and the hair will be very close to the skin. This may expose pre-existing skin conditions for which Fuzzy Butts, LLC will not be responsible. Severe matting and/or pelting will result in an additional surcharge, based upon the severity of the problem and the time required to correct it. If de-matting is an option then there will be a charge for de-matting depending on the length of time takes to de-mat, and any undue stress or pain that the pet will exhibit, then the de-matting process will stop. A fecal removal surcharged and/or biter surcharge may also apply.
Payment will be made as per list/quote and is due at time of pick-up. All pets must be picked up to avoid an overnight boarding charge of $50. You will be called 15 minutes prior to your pet being ready to be picked up.
We are by appointment only. Please don’t arrive earlier than 15 minutes before your appointment and no later than 15 minutes after your appointment time, without calling first. If you do and we have to forfeit your appointment time for being later than the 15 minutes then the $25 per pet fee for late cancelation would apply. If you are more than 15 minutes late and we can fit your pet in there will be a $15 per pet fee on top of your grooming fee for the day.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment time. You could be subject to a $25 no show/late cancelation fee per pet before scheduling your next appointment with Fuzzy Butts, LLC. Only for unforeseen circumstances will this fee be waived. You could be subject to pre-pay by cash or a credit card for your next appointment, especially if it is a Saturday appointment. We provide a service that is very specific for the pets that come to us for their grooming services and when you don’t show up, we don’t get paid. But if you call and cancel with enough notice then we can possibly fill your spot and no loss of money.
Late fee/no show fee do not apply to nail trims. It only applies to the pets that are scheduled for full groom services or partial grooms or baths.
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. There will be a $35 fee for any returned checks due to non-sufficient funds.

We want your puppy’s first visit to be about training them to enjoy the grooming process. We recommend a first groom at age of 12 weeks old this is just to familiarize them with all the sounds and everything that goes on during their grooming. We have treats and you are more than welcome to bring your own if they have a special treat that they absolutely love. The first groom shouldn’t be a full groom we actually recommend a partial for their first visit, as this makes it less stressful for them.
We will use extra care and patience for the older pet(s); however, we will do as much as the pet will let us during the grooming process. When pets start getting older and they have medical issues, our main concern for the pet is cleanliness and not stressing them out. Their haircut may not be perfect, it is about comfort and safety of your pet is our first priority.
We specialize in dogs that need more patience and need some training for the grooming process. We take our time and work with these types of dogs. There are many different reasons why dogs can have these issues. We also want you to understand that since it is a training process as well as the grooming process, sometimes your pet will not have the groom that you expect. When we know we reached a point of threshold with your pet we may break it up into two different appointments this will cause the least amount of stress for your pet.
Cats and Dogs need to be on a regular grooming schedule. We will only continue to groom pets that stay on a regular grooming schedule according to the recommendations of Angela. When pets go longer than recommended schedule then they tend to be more nervous and fearful and can act out in aggression. Since we can prevent a lot of it by keeping to a regular grooming schedule.
Fuzzy Butts, LLC work strictly by appointment this allows us to give each pet personalized care and attention. We are in such high demand that we can’t just take walk ins. You can call and see if we have an opening or add your name to our waiting list in case someone has an emergency and needs to reschedule. We have appointments days, weekends and evenings.
We recommend you schedule your next appointment before you leave to ensure you get the appointment time you need for your pet. Our weekend appointments fill up fast. If you don’t stay on a schedule then, you will have to go on a waiting list for a spot to open back up.
Please walk your dog to go potty before your grooming appointment. Please also clean up after your pet if they potty, we also have poop bags if you need them. We can dispose of the poop bags as well.
Please keep your pets either on leash when coming in and out of our store or in their carriers.
